Dr. Jacob Abu-Aita grew up in Flint, MI. With a background in managing assisted living facilities as well as an enormous background in playing sports from high school to the collegiate level, he developed a certain interest in Health and Wellness. His compassion for that field led him to attend Mott Community College and later Oakland University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition with a concentration in physical therapy.
He was persuaded by the human body’s natural ability to heal and enjoyed watching his mentor and Family member Dr. Mario Awwad was doing, making a difference in every patient’s life. Ultimately, he decided to attend Logan University College of Chiropractic medicine. Dr. Abu-Aita has previously worked as the Treasurer of the Student American Chiropractic Association, Head Anatomy Lab assistant, Student Ambassador, as well as Teaching Assistant to several adjusting as well as anatomy labs and mentor for incoming students. He enjoyed helping the next generation of doctors grow their skills.
Dr. Abu-Aita enjoys many different hobbies and activities such as spending time with family, hunting, fishing, golfing, competitive shooting, coaching baseball, weight training, pickleball, judo, and attending professional sporting events. Dr. Abu-Aita’s success was due to the support and love of his family and friends.
